Asharqia Chamber has organized in collaboration with Qaderon network on Monday, April 25, 2016 an awareness lecture about the role of establishments in the employment of persons with disabilities in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and the program of employment of persons with disabilities " Tawafuk" in the Human Resources Development Fund.
The audience have listened to a presentation about work policies and the employment of persons with disabilities, along with the Ministry of Labour initiatives that aimes at motivating establishment to hire them, and clarifying the obstacles faced by persons with disabilities in their search for work. In addition to the important elements to be considered when preparing a work environment that includes all aspects of the establishment such as the policies of the establishment, employment, preparing of utilities, communication. And other basic elements that will ensure a total and convenient work environment to people with disabilities.
The meeting also discussed the importance of changing society's point of view about people with disabilities and explaining the important principles that ensure activating the role of persons with disabilities and their right to be integrated in the labor market with providing them with the suitable facilitating services.
